- The sentences that follow in the SAT Vocabulary section are purely fictional and do not relate to any real human, event or place in any way. Furthermore they are not intended to hurt anyone's sentiments; they are just utilized to make the meaning & usage of the word clear and are not taken from any copyrighted sources accept me :-P...so give me due credit if you use them...;-)
- The lists are borrowed from the Hit Parade sections of the Princeton Review's Word Smart I, and wherever possible definitions and sentences are not used from it (except for one or two occasions). Furthermore I am not responsible for any untoward incident with your SAT :-P (like memorizing all these words instead of a full 2000 odd SAT Vocab and ending up with less than expected marks), sue Princeton instead... :-D
- I have used definitions mostly from Encarta's English Dictionary 2009 ((c) 1994-2009 Microsoft Corporation) for which I want to give Microsoft full credit.
- And finally, Mafioso, Dangerous Waters and The Battle are my very own novels (albeit short ones :-P) so the sentences ending with either of these three names are taken from my work and no other source!
